Step 3: Connect Signal Wires
Remove the backing from the adhesive and mount directly to the windshield, as close to the centerline as possible.
Route the cable from the camera to where you intend to mount the unit, tucking it behind the headliner. Connect the turn signal and brake lines to the supplied cable. SafeTRAC checks these to tell if a lane change is intentional.
NOTE: For OEM Installation all wiring is terminated to a manufacturer specified connector Find a convenient location to mount the unit. Typical locations include: on-dash, in the overhead console, or embedded in dashpanel. Multiple package configurations including dash-top (shown) and DIN-mount are available. Calibration is automatic, and takes approximately 30 seconds while driving.
